A Long-Term Approach To Weight & Metabolic Health
Weight management is rarely a simple or short-term process. Obesity and metabolic health are influenced by complex interactions between appetite regulation, metabolism, hormonal factors, lifestyle, body composition, and long-term behavioural patterns.
Dr Ravi Rao’s approach focuses on understanding these complexities through a more personalised and integrated model of care that may include medical weight-loss therapies, metabolic optimisation, bariatric surgery, revisional procedures, and structured long-term follow-up where appropriate.
Through Perth Surgical & Bariatrics, patients are supported across the full spectrum of weight and metabolic care — from initial medical management through to advanced bariatric and revisional surgery pathways when required.
The focus remains on achieving safer, sustainable, and clinically meaningful long-term health outcomes tailored to each patient’s individual needs, goals, and treatment journey.
